Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness affecting up of young adults. Severe anxiety in emerging adults, ages 16-24, has become a mental health crisis in the United States. Utilizing evidenced-based teaching, this interactive workshop will provide you with a clear understanding of the anxious brain, why many responses to anxiety only serve to grow it, simple ways for students to be successful with anxiety, and ways to coach a student through anxiety. You will be able to apply these helpful skills immediately. Time will be left at the end for questions and answers.

NMSCA Members $25, NMSCA Student Member $10, and Non-Member $50
